General Information:

Registration will begin at 8:30. The first talk will be at 9:30. There will be 6 talks during the day. All talks as well as registration and breakfast, will be held in Babbio Center. All talks will take place in Babbio, Room 122; The full schedule and abstracts are here.

As with the other Discrete Math Day conferences, there is no registration fee, and preregistering is strongly encouraged.  To preregister, please send an email to Dan Gross (grossdan@shu.edu); include your status (student, post-doc, faculty) whether you are requesting financial support, and whether you have any special dietary needs.

Directions and Parking:

Driving Directions to Stevens Institute are here; A map of the Campus is here.

Parking information: Participants are encouraged to park in the River lot located on Sinatra Drive. When you arrive on campus, ask to be directed to the River lot. Walk up the wooden stairs across the street from the lot. The Babbio Center will be the building to the left at the top of the stairs.

Do not park on the side of the streets requiring permits! Violators will be ticketed and "booted" (illegal parking fine is US$126; if your car is booted and towed, towing charges will also apply). Participants may find the metered parking side of the street to be inconvenient because they require frequent (every two to four hours) insertion of coins.

Accommodations:

Stevens provides this information to assist graduates and families in locating overnight accommodations during the Commencement weekend. Stevens has not inspected these hotels/motels and this list does not imply a recommendation. Information and directions should be obtained by calling the numbers listed. NOTE: None of the hotels are within walking distance to campus.

Financial Support (US citizens and permanent residents only):

Students and postdocs traveling more than 50 miles (each way) may apply for a $50 travel stipend. Participants traveling more than 100 miles can apply for lodging reimbursement up to $100.

Please indicate your desire for financial support on the registration form.
